These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of insignia.ink and the ordering services provided by Insignia Screen Printing ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order or using our site you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Insignia Screen Printing is a custom apparel and decoration business specializing in screen printing, embroidery, transfers, digital printing, and related services.

2. Placing an Order

An order is a request for us to produce custom decorated goods according to your specifications.
An order becomes binding once you have (a) approved the mockup we send you and (b) paid the invoiced amount in full (or any deposit we have specifically agreed to).
Until both of those things happen, either party may walk away without obligation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (with a full refund if payment has been collected) at our discretion, including for designs that infringe third-party rights or that we consider hateful, illegal, or otherwise objectionable.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are subject to change before you approve your order.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By placing an order you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide.
Sales tax is added where required by law.
If a quoted price contains an obvious typo or pricing error, we reserve the right to correct it and contact you before producing the order.

4. Artwork, Logos, and Intellectual Property

You represent that you own the rights to (or have permission to use) any artwork, logos, names, or designs you submit.
You grant us a non-exclusive, limited license to reproduce that artwork solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order, including showing mockups on our internal production board and on your approval page.
We retain ownership of designs, mockups, and artwork we create on your behalf unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
You agree to indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from artwork or content you provide.

5. Production Time

Standard production windows are stated on your order. Typical screen-printing turnaround is 7–14 business days from artwork approval; rush options may be available for an additional fee.
"Production time" starts the day we receive your approved mockup and full payment, not the day the order is placed.
Shipping time is separate from production time.
We are not liable for delays caused by suppliers, shipping carriers, severe weather, or other events outside our reasonable control.

6. Quality, Color, and Variance

Slight variations in color (compared to your monitor or a previous run), placement (±½ inch), and ink coverage are normal in screen printing and other decoration methods and are not considered defects.
If a garment is sold in a "blank" form by a third-party brand (e.g., Next Level, Gildan, Bella+Canvas), we are not responsible for that manufacturer's quality issues — though we will help you raise them with the supplier.
A small percentage of "spoilage" is normal in custom production; we target 100% but cannot guarantee zero defects on every piece.

7. Returns, Refunds, and Disputes

See our Refund Policy for full details on cancellations, returns, and dispute resolution. In short: because each order is custom-made for you, we cannot accept returns for buyer's remorse — but we will make it right if we made a mistake.

8. Accounts and Security

If you create a customer account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
Notify us immediately at hello@insigniasp.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the site to violate any law or third-party right.
Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without our prior written consent.
Submit content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or hateful.
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the site without permission.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, beyond the warranties expressly stated in these Terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the site or any order will not exceed the amount you paid us for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [County], [State], and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or sent to you by email.
